Lillian's Birthday Party

The party started out with rather more drama than we would have liked.  One guest and her father were trapped in our elevator between the seventh and eighth floors.  Luckily, the elevator guys arrived after ten or fifteen minutes and helped them out.  Their expertise consisted of a key to open the outside door.  Then, they simply boosted them down to the seventh floor with the gaping shaft right underneath them.  Luckily, everyone was okay.  Lillian's friend was a bit shaken, but quickly recovered.  Her dad seemed completely unfazed. 
They have been working on our elevator for about three months and we have been using the service elevator.  The main elevator is finally revamped and working and the service elevator, in which our guests were stuck is now being refurbished.  Yikes!

 Two metro rides with six girls and we arrived at Le Jardin d'Acclimatation.  It was crazy crowded and really hot.  I don't have many photos because I was too busy trying to keep everyone together and alive.

 Home again on the metro.  The photo is blurry because people are walking by and I am trying not to fall onto the tracks.
