Last weekend the girls voted to go to Palais de la Découverte, the city Science museum. It is right next to the Grand Palais and an easy metro ride from us. We decided to skip the visiting exhibit.
We headed upstairs to the hands-on exhibits.
Weights and pulleys
These two liked to tilt the air source so that the ball looked like it was floating in mid-air. There was a lot of time spent chasing the ball.
After learning a thing or two here, we went to a lecture on forensic. The museum has experiments and lectures going on all day. The thing is, that they are not hands-on or child-friendly. We have been here a few times now and know the drill. The presenter we watched was actually pretty entertaining. He gave an hour long presentation on forensics, complete with experiments. It was aimed to a high school or college audience. The girls sat through it and probably will be able to follow CSI if they ever catch an episode.
