It was wet and muddy and there were lots of enormous black slugs on the path. We could have been in Portland visiting the Rock/Vinings. I should have held up a hand for scale. Trust me, that slug is enormous.
We hiked straight up into the clouds and into the rain. By the time we reached the falls, it was pouring.
We hurried back down to town in the pouring rain. Luckily, there was a yummy creperie where we could warm up and eat lunch.
