At the beginning of the 12th century, there was probably a priimitive fort here that was erected in the 10th century. In 1380, Guillaume de Murol finished the outside fortress, built a donjon, and a second chapel.
The chateau is on a big hill, which makes for a good climb and some great views.
There was a lot to see and do inside the chateau grounds.
