Lillian's Brownie troop is making cupcakes to sell for charity and I was in charge of finding boxes. My search took me back to all of the fabulous cooking and food shops near Les Halles. I had to pick up a few enormous bottles of sparkly sugar to use for Christmas cookies.
We visited the Louvre in the morning and I was hopeful that we would make it back out to see some more of Paris. It be became readily apparent that this would not be a good idea for some of us. I decided, as I often do, that sugar was the answer. Unfortunately, my Eiffel Tower cookie cutter is a disaster and does not work at all. Luckily, I have a lot more cookie cutters.
