Mont St. Michel is on the UNESCO world Heritage site and is truly amazing historically and visually. However, these ladies were unimpressed. We headed to the St. Malo Aquarium, a more child friendly venue.
Sylvia remembered from the Ottawa Museum of Nature that leatherback turtles sometimes eat plastic bags and suffocate because they think they are jelly fish.
We took the natibus, which is basically a family ride in a mini-sub. Wahoo!
The St. Malo Aquarium is a relatively new and there are many impressive things to see.
There is a large tactile pool with all sorts of fish and animals to touch.
Lillian, who at the outset was not sure she wanted to go to the aquarium, ended up being a big fan. Her favorite part was the tactile pool. She touched a ray, a hermit crab, a turbot, and some other fish.
