After a long day in Provins, Lillian and I rallied to join Sylvia and Pierre at Place des Vosges. We wanted to check out Fête de la Musique. One summer night a year, there are musicians and bands playing in venues all over Paris. We chose Place des Vosges because there are monkey bars there.
It was hopping. There were several groups playing on each street.

After listening to many different musicians, we caught the metro home at La Bastille. It was the longest night of the year, and despite the light sky it was late. We all had a nice sleep in this morning. Happy summer and happy weekend!

I truly do hate to interject, but it's been my understanding that one is not allowed to wear a) denim jeans (unless of the tight, made out of many square patches with suede tassels variety) or b) shorts in Paris, France. Just saying! Be careful
