Pierre volunteered to help out at the school party. He was horrified to learn he had been assigned to the Indian stand. At least, unlike 2012, the theme of the whole event wasn't Indians. I am not sure this is progress. Hard to believe this is our third Kermesse.
Sylvia's best buddy from her class
Our British/American friend who has been at our school forever.
This year we stayed for dinner. The kids piled into the auditorium where there was music, laser lights, and a DJ and the parents opened a bottle or two of wine and enjoyed dinner. The party starts after school at 4:30 and goes until 11:00.
Lil is on the right sitting down and checking out the action. Later she got down and danced.
The music was a very funny mix, mostly old American rock. This part of the party is known as "Le Boom." Parents, teachers, and kids all had a great time.
One more week of school! Canada Day, Lillian's birthday, Fourth of July...and soon after...moving day! Wahoo! Give me strength!
